I have been working out with a trainer for 4 years now. The one piece that was always missing from my puzzle was nutrition. I have to say that my trainer has always preached good nutrition to me, but I have never been consistent. I would do well for a day or two, sometimes only for a meal or two, then I would fall off the wagon and eat dessert or something else that sounded good. Following this nutrition program and knowing just what to eat, and how much, has changed my body and the way I feel about food. Following a meal plan helps you learn what foods to put together and the portions you should eat. I came to Personally Fit because I was tired of being overweight. My main problem was that I just didn't know how to eat to lose weight without feeling hungry all the time. There were too many "diet" plans to choose from and all seemed so gimmicky. I met with Lindsey and she began by telling me to eat 5 small meals a day. So the first thing I liked about this meal plan was that I was never hungry. In fact, I still have a hard time eating all five meals/snacks. I also like that I am eating "regular" food and have enough meal variety so that I don't get bored or burned out on some foods. Being able to eat Mexican and Italian food is a huge plus - these are foods I can't live without.
I will be honest and admit that, other than my Pilates class twice a week, I haven't really exercised. Yet I've still lost 10-13 lbs. over about 3 months. I don't mind that my weight is not "melting" off quickly as I see this "diet" as a lifetime eating plan - a complete change in how I eat. It may take me longer to reach my target weight but as long as I'm losing, I'm headed in the right direction.

Keep It Off program –$30 per month
This is only for those who have finished an 8 or 12 week nutrition consultation. After you finish your 8 or 12 week package, you can sign up for this program for a minimum of 6 months and continue to come in for a check-in every month for only $30 a visit.
